Kavasila is a village of about 740 residents, and it is located between Veria and Alexandria.The village belongs to the municipality of Antigonides of Imathia administratively, and, as a matter of fact, it constitutes the administrative centre of the municipality.The population of the municipality of Antigonides numbers 5021 residents in total.
